So yeah I guess now is as good a time as any to keep rambling about hockey. The first round of playoffs are ovah and well I guess I'm not terribly surprised.


Bruins vs. Canadiens: I was so angry this wasn't available for me to watch that I almost started crying. Lucic got like a million points and started a fight and Kessel and Kreijci just spent some time being AWESOME and the game kicked ass and I didn't get to see anything but the highlight reel WAAAAAAH. Luckily the ONLY televised game is Saturday at 8 on VS and I should be able to catch it (the Caps game that day is at 1 and oh by the way I'M GOING TO IT).

Capitals vs. Rangers: Argh. But don't worry my beautiful boys in red, I will be there with a heart overflowing with love, and you will win! Okay, that's not very useful. Basically we need Jose to not whore it up and shut his legs, and maybe hire a dude to bash Lundqvist in the kneecaps with a crowbar. We outplayed them on Weds, we just have to keep elevating our game and pounding King Henry, and keep the pucking puck out of our zone. And maybe punch Jeff Schultz. Not that I don't love the guy. ♥

Devils vs. Hurricanes: SNORE. I can't even remember who won; that's a lie, it was the Devs. But still, ZZZZZ. Whatever guys, I still predict the upset. Go Canes. They play today at 7.30.

Penguins vs. Flyers: So turns out the Pens were actually the higher seed. My b. They both ended up with 99 points, and the Pens with a better record. Anyway I wanna watch this motherfucker though I probably won't end up doing so. They play at 7.

Sharks vs. Ducks: This was the first Sharks game I watched, but thanks to the lovely people at >a href="community.livejournal.com/2mins4slashing">2mins4slashing</a> (slashing is a real penalty in hockey, heehee) I am intimately familiar with the players, and turns out they have the President's Trophy for a reason. Man are they fun to watch -- although their power play was sloppy like, er, an inappropriate comment by Sean Avery. But they were fantastic, even if darling Nabby let two goals in and random-ass Swedish guy Jonas Hiller shut them out. The Sharks might be my favourite Western conference team, which is slightly unfortunate because it makes me sound like a total bandwagoner. Re: the Ducks, don't you think Corey Perry and Bobby Ryan should start a boy band? They have such boy bandish names.

Red Wings vs. Blue Jackets: Yeah, BJs without a chance.

Canucks vs. Blues: I actually don't remember who won. It was... the Canucks. And in other news I don't care about, apparently Lindsey Lohan is a lesbian?

Blackhawks vs. Flames: I've really had Phaneuf of the Flames. I guess that joke doesn't work so well in writing. But I heart the Blackhawks, and fucking Toews made an AMAZING save -- yeah, he's not the goalie. Groat for #19 lover. Tazer and Kaner are my boys. (Plus, Kane wears 88, which I have a big ol' soft spot for.)

Haha so I guess this entry will be time-stamped as 9.38 am, and I have class from 9-11. Yeah, I just bought the tickets in the middle of class. Fuck ecology, but more importantly FUCK THE RANJUHS!
